Equipment Project Team Leader : Supervisor for project administrator(s), project manager(s), intern(s) and support personnel who are handling projects that furnish Equipment.
This role is primarily one of people and business segment leadership, while project management is secondary. As a leader within the Design and Construction Equipment business, this role ensures that fulfillment team members and fulfillment processes are aligned to achieve contractual obligations while maintaining margin expectations and client satisfaction.
Essential Duties :
- Ensures that quality standards are maintained through overall equipment project management including order management, Solutions Turnover, start-up, close out, warranty service and claims administration.
- Interacts with sales to ensure smooth hand-off of projects from the sales process.
- Reviews project measurements and monitors projects through warranty periods to include Monitoring and reporting project cost variances with respect to estimated costs
- Reinforce proactive project management best practices among direct reports.
- Support the personal and professional growth of associates within project management team.
- Develop and Maintain relationships with factory personnel including order services, plant managers, etc.
- Advance the project management skill sets of project management staff to include time management, effective communication, project scheduling, critical path monitoring, project risk mitigation, understanding and documenting client expectations and contractual obligations.
- Responsible for keeping abreast of manufacturer provided software and tools necessary for project management
- Works across organizational cross-functional teams to ensure that the project managers have resources necessary to achieve objectives.

Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in project management, construction management, engineering, or business administration or equivalent combination of education & experience. MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 5-7 years Project Management or Client Service experience
- Comfortable with Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook. Experienced with Excel
- Supervisory experience is a plus
- Positive attitude, self-starter, motivated
- Mobility within the office & job sites, willing to travel locally and visits to job sites as required
- Hybrid Role. Expected to be in the office a minimum of 3 days per week
Supervisory Requirements :
- Supervise associates in Design and Construction Department
- Coaching / managing the professional development of all direct reports
- Networking, developing leads, and recruitment for all direct reports
- Training on and compliance with employment law and regulations
