SWABACK is currently accepting applications for a Community Planner / Landscape Architect who is committed to design excellence, thrives in an environment of collaboration, and demonstrates a high degree of creativity.
Working with us, you will :
- Perform landscape architectural and planning assignments under general supervision,
- Coordinate the preparation of design presentations,
- Coordinate with consultants on a wide variety of design-related issues.
- Relate design concepts to zoning ordinances and other external issues.
- Manage all aspects of project development.
An ideal candidate :
- Has a working knowledge of planning, urban design, and landscape architecture issues.
- Can understand and communicate with professionals of other disciplines.
- Contributes proactively to the project team.
- Is proficient with technical detailing.
- Is proficient in current design software, including Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and Sketchup (A plus : Revit, Rhino, Civil 3d, Land FX, and other 3d modeling / rendering platforms).
- Has preferred experience : Hand graphics, graphic design, and site grading experience.
- 7-10 years of experience.
- Possesses, at a minimum, a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
