RCC invites you to apply for our Facility Manager opening at the Warsaw campus. This is a full-time classified staff position.
RCC has an excellent benefits package, and the anticipated annual salary range is $78,000-$90,000, commensurate with experience.
Reporting to the Vice President of Finance and Administration, the Facility Manager is responsible for providing supervision and oversight of all facility and equipment repair and maintenance, groundskeeping and housekeeping.
The Facility Manager develops campus operation budgets, manages construction projects and administers contracts. The incumbent directs campus housekeeping, maintenance and groundskeeping operations and implements preventative and emergency maintenance plans.
This position works closely with the Glenns campus Facility Manager to ensure the proper maintenance of HVAC systems. In addition, the role supervises and maintains all campus safety, security and fire protection systems and coordinates campus events.
Special Assignments
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
KSA's / Required Qualifications
- Prior management experience and ability to communicate to a diverse group of facilities personnel, faculty, staff, students and visitors.
- Advanced knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, general maintenance systems, as well as grounds landscaping and maintenance.
- Advanced working knowledge of all maintenance hand tools, machinery, power tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Flexibility & adaptability to meet full range of various maintenance skills, techniques, and functions.
- Practical experience in commercial maintenance and installation fields.
- Supervisory experience.
- Computer literacy.
- High school graduation or equivalent.
- Valid Virginia driver’s license.
- Ability to acquire a commercial pesticide license.
