Biology Associate Drug Discovery

Job Description
Biotechnology lab seeking a highly motivated and interactive individual with a background in cell / molecular biology, demonstrating versatility and a willingness to adapt and contribute across various stages of the drug discovery process.
Responsibilities :
- Evaluate the potency and selectivity of new molecules in various functional and phenotypic cell-based assays.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments, analyze and interpret results, present summaries, and generate reports of the studies
- Work in close collaboration with preclinical development teams and communicate results in a timely manner.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and restock supplies.
Qualifications :
- Should have a Bachelor’s program. Preferred majors are molecular / cell biology, cancer biology, or equivalent discipline.
- Must have experience in tissue culture, western blot, cell and gene therapy assay
- Experience in cell and molecular biology techniques such as RT-PCR, flow cytometry and ELISA is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, ImageJ, Graphpad Prism is preferred.
- Proficient at conducting review of relevant scientific literature using Pubmed
- Should be self-motivated and organized, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently and independently in a team / matrix environment
Additional Information :
This position requires 90% wet lab work, focusing on hands-on experimental tasks. 100% onsite work in Wilmington, DE.
