This role will be responsible for processing payroll, posting payroll journal entries and creating reports in payroll software.

Salary : $70k - $80k plus 20% bonus, and M / D / V / 401k, 21 days PTO and they are closed from Christmas Day thru New Years Day.
The ideal candidate will have experience processing payroll, posting journal entries and has strong computer / software skills including experience creating / writing reports and process improvement minded.
Duties :
- Process payroll for 100+ employees using Paycom and importing file from Paycom into general ledger software, SAGE Intacct.
- Post Payroll journal entries.
- Analyzing and managing the costs associated with employee benefits, identifying opportunities for cost savings, and reporting on benefit program performance.
- Working with the finance department, particularly the Budget Analyst, to incorporate payroll and benefits costs into the company’s financial budget and forecasts within Sage Intacct Planning.
- Develop clear and well-documented procedures for payroll data integration and financial reporting, ensuring accurate and consistent information flow as the Finance Director requires.
- Review Expense reports.
- Process improvement experience.
- Someone that can keep up on software updates and IMPLEMENT them if they will improve any process.
- Will be co-administrator of Paycom.
- Create / write reports in Paycom.
Human Resources :
This involves managing all aspects of employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
It also requires enrollment, eligibility verification, communication, and vendor management.
- Addressing employee inquiries and concerns about payroll and benefits, maintaining positive relationships with the workforce.
- Implementing policies and procedures related to payroll and benefits, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Requirements :
- Eight or more years of Bookkeeping experience that includes Payroll Processing.
- Experience posting payroll to general ledger.
- Benefits administration experience including open enrollment, and employee relations experience required.
- SAGE Intacct a plus, Paycom, ADP or similar third-party payroll provider experience preferred.
- Experience writing reports is preferred.
