SusieCakes is looking to hire a FT Delivery Driver for downtown San Francisco! This role will have all benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance offered.
Pay range $21-24 / HR + tips (est. $2-$3 an hour)
Must have availability to work Thursday-Monday
Shifts are 3 am- 11 : 30 am. Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver's license.
At SusieCakes, we make old-fashioned, sentimental dessert favorites just like you may remember from your childhood! Our bakeries are filled with the delicious tastes and sweet smells of cakes, cupcakes, cookies, pies, and bars- all baked from scratch, on-site daily, using the freshest and finest ingredients.
Our signature Celebration Cake is a birthday staple on tens of thousands of tables. Our bakeries mix the nostalgia of the past with the warmth and feel of a modern, neighborhood bakery.

The delivery driver is responsible for the transport of our baked goods and other food / supply items. They will be driving between multiple SusieCakes bakeries, our commissary kitchen, and any guest locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Operations Management : Manage the delivery calendar activities daily, daily bakery requisitions checklist and adhering to the culinary schedule
- Ensure all food is handled and stored according to all required food safety code standards
- Assist with kitchen food prep & production of baked goods as needed
- Ensure delivery cruiser maintenance & service matters are managed
- Manage expenses for delivery cruiser (i.e., gasoline, tolls, repairs)
- Ensure the delivery cruiser is driven in a professional manner consistent with local vehicle laws
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Valid driver’s license required
- Excellent driving record required
- Knowledgeable of GPS navigation systems
- Outstanding customer service focus and skills
- High degree of professionalism
- Must be able to safely utilize all bakery equipment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
- Frequent walking, kneeling, bending, and reaching overhead
- Able to sit for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds
EDUCATION :
High school diploma or GED
LANGUAGE SKILLS :
Must be able to speak, read, and write English
OTHER :
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
