Summary : Schedules and coordinates flow of material within or between departments of manufacturing plants and vendors to expedite or coordinate production by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following :

  • Create schedules, coordinate shipments, and manage the processing and distribution of parts.
  • Notifies Buyers and internal personnel of late deliveries.
  • Assist in project planning by working closely with the logistic director, department managers, and project managers to create comprehensive action plans concerning resources and timeframes for projects.
  • Coordinates shipments ensuring the right parts are being pulled for shipping.
  • Track finished parts and maintain inventory management for projects.
  • Track outsourcing processes and vendor fabrication by outsourcing and vendor coordination.
  • Act as a point of contact for project teams and stakeholders, preparing and reviewing memos, meeting minutes and emails.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
  • Searches inventory records or warehouse to determine if material on hand is in sufficient quantity.
  • Compiles records of items purchased or transferred between departments, deliveries, and inventories.
  • Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on site.
  • Must have a valid Oklahoma driver’s license, must be a qualified competent driver, meet requirements of the Department of Transportation, Kelvion’s Fleet Policy, and shall maintain an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in project management software (e.

g., Excel, Microsoft Project) and familiarity with planning and risk management

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 2 years related experience and / or training

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
