The primary purpose of the position is to teach biology undergraduate courses and advise undergraduates as a Professional Track Faculty lecturer in the Department of Biology at UNCG.
The successful candidate will teach introductory biology, introductory biology laboratory, and additional courses in their area of expertise.
We seek an individual with a graduate degree, a Ph.D. preferred in Biology or a related field, and the ability to also teach Introductory Biology and other courses in disciplinary specializations which may include Physiology, Microbiology, Evolutionary Biology, Ecology, Developmental Biology, Human Biology, Anatomy, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or Genetics.
The successful candidate will be assigned mentor(s) and may participate in departmental committees and outreach as part of professional development.
The teaching load will be four courses per semester. Minimum Qualifications
