In this crucial role, you'll be at the forefront of driving our technology strategy, ensuring that our enterprise applications not only support but propel our business objectives across multiple brands and channels.

Why This Role Matters : As the Director of Enterprise Applications, you’ll oversee the operation and strategic direction of our enterprise systems, including ERP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Product Information Management (PIM), CRM, and more.

Your mission? To ensure that these critical software packages are perfectly aligned with our business goals. You'll be the mastermind behind planning, coordinating, and directing all activities related to the development and management of applications that power our business operations and back-office systems.

Collaboration is key in this role. You’ll work closely with business and operational stakeholders to identify, recommend, and implement cost-effective technology solutions.

And, you’ll play a pivotal role in our ambitious three-year roadmap to deploy a cutting-edge technology stack for ERP and WMS applications, setting the stage for our company’s future success.

What You’ll Do :

• Lead and Innovate : Develop a forward-thinking strategy that aligns our enterprise applications (ERP, WMS, PIM, CRM, eCommerce) with our evolving business needs across brands like Discount School Supply, Really Good Stuff, Steve Spangler Science, and our fulfillment center.
• Optimize and Enhance : Oversee the ongoing optimization of systems like JDA and VAI (ERP), DCX (WMS), Salesforce (CRM), SAP Hybris (eCommerce), and Stibo STEP (PIM), ensuring top-notch data integrity and operational efficiency.
• Drive Success : Manage project lifecycles from start to finish, delivering on-time, on-budget, and within-scope implementations.

You’ll partner with stakeholders to translate their needs into actionable solutions that drive user adoption and business value.

• Lead with Purpose : Lead a talented team in managing software systems, data, reporting, and support. Foster a collaborative and high-performing environment where innovation thrives.
• Stay Ahead of the Curve : Keep your finger on the pulse of emerging technologies and industry trends. You’ll be a trusted advisor to senior management, offering insights and recommendations on strategic technology investments.

Who You Are :

• A proven leader with 10+ years of experience in enterprise application management, particularly in leading and managing complex implementations.
• A strategic thinker with hands-on experience in ERP systems and other enterprise applications like WMS, PIM, CRM, and eCommerce.
• A tech-savvy innovator with a strong understanding of software development methodologies like Agile and DevOps.
• A master communicator with the ability to influence and build consensus across diverse teams and stakeholders.
• A results-driven professional with a track record of translating business needs into impactful technology solutions and effectively managing IT vendors and partners.
