Overview : We are seeking a skilled painter to join our aerospace company to ensure the facility maintains a clean, professional appearance.
The ideal candidate will have experience in painting walls, doors, floors, and machines in an industrial setting.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary
- Paint walls, doors, floors, and machines using various painting techniques and equipment
- Mix and match paint colors to ensure consistency and quality of finish
- Apply protective coatings and sealants as required
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment
- Maintain inventory of paint supplies and equipment and reorder as needed
- Assist with other maintenance tasks as assigned
Requirements :
- Proven experience as a painter in an industrial setting, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing
- Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and equipment
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Physical stamina to perform painting tasks for extended periods
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- High school diploma or equivalent
