Description
This position is responsible for the handling, pulling blood and fat samples, weighing, and vaccinating of Broilers (chickens) in the field, responsible for ordering, issuing and inventorying supplies while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
This position requires the willingness / ability to stand for extended periods; walk, bend, stretch, turn, push, pull, reach, and lift no greater than up to 40 lbs.

Rate of Pay : Start : $16.105 years : $16.2010 years : $16.30
Work Schedule : 7 : 00 a.m. 3 : 00 p.m start and stop times are approximate, this will be determined by the projected processing schedule.
Workdays : Monday through Friday, on rare occasions could require weekend work.
Requirements :
Previous experience working in live production or with broilers preferred but not required.
Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, a company vehicle will be assigned to this position.
Ability to communicate clearly with managers and other team members in person and in writing regarding quality readings and measurements.
Have the ability to organize / prioritize tasks, be self-motivated, have the ability to work without direct daily supervision.
Must have a flexible schedule and the willingness to complete all tasks or duties as assigned by management.
Ability / willingness to vaccinate birds in the field, complete necessary required testing in the field.
Must not own possess or otherwise maintain any domestic wild or exotic fowl to be considered.
Animal Welfare Background check required.
