Systems Maintenance Technician
The Systems Maintenance Technician is responsible for the complete installation, startup, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of company equipment across various products.
This role may also involve planning, scheduling, coordinating, cost control, and supervising team members based on project or contract needs.
Additionally, the Technician will document all job activities and develop proficiency in basic systems technologies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead complex equipment trials, investigative tests, repairs, and overhauls.
- Utilize software tools effectively and demonstrate strong technical aptitude.
- Analyze and interpret complex data, including bug reports and production metrics.
- Perform specialized technical tasks within a designated domain.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to technical concepts, techniques, or processes.
Expected Hours of Work :
Typically Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM, or as assigned by the supervisor based on customer needs.
Physical Demands :
- Ability to work in various positions, including bending, standing, lying on the floor, and leaning to access machine components.
- Capability to move between locations, maintain positions for extended periods, and communicate effectively.
- May involve lifting or moving machine parts or items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Self-starter with minimal supervision required.
- Excellent hands-on skills with a knack for solving complex problems.
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Effective written and oral communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English; intermediate to advanced Spanish skills are a plus.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Associate degree in a STEM-related field.
