Title : Test Engineer 2 RandD (Contract to Hire / Temp to Perm)

Location : Mostly Remote (There will be onsite work in the San Diego office conference room sometimes)

Duration : 12 months

Overtime Hours : Possible

Required :

• Local to San Diego (even though the work model is mostly remote)
• No visa support required (conversion of FTE cannot be done if visa support is required)

Description :

SDK Automation Development for iOS OR Android Mobile Application

Where you come in :

• to develop and maintain SDK test automation for client Mobile Apps
• to develop and maintain Android and / or iOS Mobile App Test Tools
• to develop and maintain CI / CD for client SDK test suite
• to document software verification test protocols and create requirements traceability matrices that demonstrate test coverage of all features of client SDK product
• to execute software verification plans and test protocols by following the project schedule
• to record and track issues in the bug tracking system, and analyze failures and collaborate with development teams to ensure root cause is investigated
• to participate in software requirements, design, code, and test reviews
• to run regression analysis and run regression tests according to the software changes.
• to follow internal software development, cybersecurity, and validation procedures that comply with medical and security regulations

What makes you successful :

• Minimum of 3 5 years of Software Development or Software Mobile App Development related experience
• Proven history of design, development, implementation, and maintenance of API test automation to test the functional specifications / requirements and performance of software and systems
• Excellent skills with Java and Swift (iOS) or Kotlin (Android OS) programming languages and the ability to integrate them in large-scale projects
• Experience with Appium, XCUITest, xCode are a plus.
• High degree of diligence in coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and attention to detail
• Previous CI / CD implementation experience and knowledge of SDLC
• Proficient with Object Oriented Language and Source Control Tool
• Excellent communication and influence skills. Ability to communicate (verbal and written) with engineers, management as well as across the organization
• Proficient with software tools for requirements management, test case management, and engineering analysis

Required Skills

• Agile Experience 2 Years minimum
• Kotlin or Swift language 2 years minimum
• Java 3 years minimum
• Android or iOS mobile app development or unit test experience 2 years minimum

Preferred Skills

• Case Management Experience 3 years
• Mobile App SDK test experience
• Appium experience
• XCUITest or xCode experience
