Home Service Partners (HSP) is a forward-thinking company that owns and operates multiple HVAC businesses, aiming to transform the home services industry.
We are expanding our services and looking for a skilled Master Plumber to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a new service line across our brands while working closely with the President of HSP to drive growth and innovation.
As a Master Plumber, you will oversee all aspects of plumbing work, including installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, primarily in residential settings with occasional commercial projects.
You will be a key player in establishing this new service line, contributing your expertise and leadership to deliver top-quality plumbing services.
Salary : $75,000- $100,000 / year + Bonus
Location : Metro-Detroit Area + Mid-Michigan (Frankenmuth and surrounding areas)
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, including water supply lines, waste disposal systems, and fixtures.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify issues and recommend effective repairs or replacements.
- Interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and building codes to ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
- Diagnose plumbing issues and implement cost-effective solutions.
- Mentor and supervise junior technicians and apprentices, ensuring high standards of workmanship.
- Collaborate with contractors, builders, and clients to plan and execute plumbing projects.
- Prepare estimates for materials, labor, and time required for plumbing projects.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal plumbing regulations.
- Respond to emergency plumbing calls with professionalism and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including reports, logs, and inspection results.
Qualifications :
- Current Master Plumber license in the state of Michigan.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the plumbing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, materials, and industry best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in training and mentoring team members.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces as required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in both residential and commercial plumbing projects.
- Additional certifications, such as backflow prevention or gas fitting.
- Knowledge of advanced plumbing technologies, including green plumbing solutions or smart home integration.
Work Environment :
- Work involves exposure to varying temperatures, wet conditions, and confined or elevated spaces.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, often in physically demanding conditions.
