Tax Supervisor
A small, local, boutique firm in Des Moines is looking for a Tax Supervisor to join their team. In this role, you will be a working supervisor processing complex tax returns, overview of returns, and managing bookkeeping and payroll for clients.
This is a great opportunity for you to stay in public accounting while not having the hustle, bustle, and long hours of larger firms.
WHAT IS GREAT ABOUT THIS TAX SUPERVISOR OPPORTUNITY?
- Direct Hire
- Onsite
- 50 to 55 hours during tax season and 40 hours or less during off-season
- $80,000 to $120,000 depending on experience
DO YOU ALIGN WITH THESE KEY QUALIFICATIONS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE TAX SUPERVISOR ?
- CPA Required OR could consider a lower level if someone is working toward their CPA
- Must have tax experience
- Ability to do tax, bookkeeping, and payroll functions for clients
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Prepare complex individual and corporate tax returns
- Manage client bookkeeping and payroll processing
- Oversight of staff professionals
- Review and approve tax returns prepared by staff
