Salary :
TCH is looking for Logistic Coordinators to manage the transportation of emergency fuel in the event of a Hurricane in the State of Florida.
We offer weekly pay to you as a 1099 contractor. This is seasonal temporary contract labor.
While on deployment you can expect :
- lodging
- meals
- laundry services
What is required of a 1099 Contractor :
- You must have an LLC
- Carry workers compensation
Documentation we will need for you to be considered :
- Front and back of your DL license
- Medical Examiners Card
- Workers' compensation Policy or exemption
Frequently asked questions :
When will I go to work? There is NO definite answer to this as we only work in the event of a hurricane and if the State of Florida requests or services.
How will I know when to report? TCH use WhatsApp for all communications.
How long do I have to report to job site once my services have been requested? 24-48 HRS
What should I bring with me? Please refer to the Drivers expectation form
Is this guaranteed work? NO
Is this permanent work? NO
If I have not completed all my paperwork, can I still deploy? Unfortunately, NO our vendor has specific guidelines and policy to abide by from the State of Florida.
Does TCH offer meal, travel reimbursements? NO
Does TCH offer benefits? No, we only request services from 1099 contractors
How long will my services be needed? It's hard to say depends on the size of the storm and how long the State of Florida allows us to work.
Do you offer paper checks? No direct deposit only
Do you take Taxes out of my check? NO, you will receive a 1099 at the end of the year from TCH
What happens if someone is caught using drugs or alcohol on State premises while offering services to TCH? They will be escorted off the premises immediately.
TCH does not tolerate or condone fighting, drugs, alcohol, discrimination, or stealing.
Does TCH have contracts in other states? We are diligently working on gaining other contracts and hope to have those in the near future.
NOTE : These items can change at TCH discretion per our vendor requirements. TCH will not be held to these requirements not being accurate at a later date as they can be adjusted to meet certain requirements of the State of Florida.
