Material Handler, $21 / hr, Novi MI
Are you interested in working for an innovative leader in the development and manufacturing of high-quality prototype and production products to over 50 automotive, industrial, and marine customers for both gas and diesel applications?
Responsibilities :
- Compares identifying shipment information & counts, weighs or measures items of incoming goods to verify information against packing slips & bills of lading.
- Verifies labeling with outgoing paperwork to ensure accuracy
- Safely transports, receives and loads / unloads shipments of incoming and outgoing goods while verifying there is no damage to packaging / goods.
- Creates & submits proper documentation as required.
- Enter received goods into the inventory system as per existing policies & procedures.
- Cycle count parts inventory as required.
- Performs housekeeping, clean-up and other 5 S related activities as required.
Qualifications :
- 3 years manufacturing experience
- Experience with working with ERP and or Inventory Management Systems
- Strong administrative skills
- Strong mathematical aptitude.
- Require Lift truck license.
This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor. The Material Handler is responsible for planning & coordinating the movement, verification & maintenance of records for incoming goods.
The role will also ensure the safe transport and storage of materials, ensuring accurate inventory levels. After your time with Workbox you will be considered for hire-in!
