As the Associate, Accounts Receivable , you will be responsible for supporting a finance process or transaction (in cash or invoicing).
Responsible for servicing requests and ensuring timely, accurate, compliant, and complete reconciliation of accounts.
A Day in the Life
- Processes all cash application for checks, wires, and ACHs within 48 hours
- Deposits non-receivables to company bank account and submits daily / weekly upload to accounting
- Performs daily and monthly balancing including journal entries, write-offs and check requests
- Processes ACH debits and credit card payments as requested
- Other duties as assigned, including special projects
Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent required, Associate’s Degree preferred
- 1+ yrs of experience in accounts receivable or related field
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work under pressure, using tact, discretion, and good judgment to respond to all requests in a professional and courteous manner
- Keen eye for detail and ability to work independently
- Ability to prioritize and manage expectations
