Selectek is seeking a qualified Project Design Engineer for a partnering client near Milwaukee, Wisconsin . Candidates will need a strong design background in custom fixtures and furnishings for retail spaces.
Employment Type : Temp-to-Perm
Expected Salary Range : $28-$34 per hour depending on experience and background
Location : Milwaukee, WI
Job Requirements :
- 2 + years of 3D design experience
- Proficiency in SolidWorks design
- Working knowledge of ERP systems
- Strong in design for manufacturability and assembly (DFM / DFA)
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Associate degree in an engineering field
Job Duties :
- Create 3D models and drawings for retail furnishings and fixtures in SolidWorks
- Develop bills of material (BOM) and cut lists
- Design fixtures that account for proper tolerancing, manufacturability, and assembly in designs
- Execute engineering change notices with an understanding of how it affects the other process stakeholders
- Make changes or improvements to designs when required
- Create technical presentations for internal and client-facing use
