What's a typical day as a CNC Operator / Programmer? You'll be :
- Programming, setting up, and operating sophisticated and complicated CNC metal machining equipment, specifically Citizen lathes or comparable equipment
- Setting up and operating manual and less sophisticated CNC metal machining equipment
- Using measurement instruments including micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators
- Following verbal and written manufacturing procedures
- Reading blueprints
This job might be an outstanding fit if you :
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Operator / Programmer
- Have experience and demonstrated ability in programming, setting up, and operating sophisticated and complicated CNC metal machining equipment, including Citizen lathes or equivalent equipment
- Have experience programming, setting up, and operating less complicated CNC machining equipment
- Possess excellent manual dexterity and the ability to visualize shapes
- Are able to read blueprints
