Operations & Maintenance Supervisor

We are currently looking for an Operations & Maintenance Supervisor to work with and oversee a team of skilled Maintenance Technicians in a scattered residential portfolio.

The Operations & Maintenance Supervisor will focus on maximizing efficiency, solving problems, and driving team success.

What youll do :

• Take an active part in interviewing, hiring, training and managing performance of your team
• Complete and / or delegate service requests, monitor completion & resident satisfaction
• Coordinate completion of & lead your team in larger service requests and projects
• Complete administrative duties as assigned : reporting, invoices, inventory management
• Oversee project timelines and budgets, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery
• Serve as point of contact for vendors; managing scheduling, communication, etc.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities over multiple sites
• Coach, develop, and inspire your team to maintain high levels of employee productivity and satisfaction
• Be the go-to problem solver for escalated maintenance and property issues
• Work closely with other departments, ensuring a collaborative team atmosphere

Operations & Maintenance Supervisor Qualifications :

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Valid drivers license
• Strong leadership skills with experience in team supervision while managing multiple projects within varying timelines
• Extensive, proven experience in multifamily, residential maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and completing service issues : plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.
• MS Office experience
• Property Management software experience preferred
• Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills
• A commitment to delivering high-quality work and superb customer service
• Ability to meet physical requirements :
• The position is considered to have moderate to heavy physical demands. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to climb up to nine feet on ladders, work in overhead structures, walk, stand, twist, stoop, bend, squat, and kneel at least 90% of the workday.

The employee will occasionally be required to lift, carry and / or move in excess of 100 pounds and frequently be required to lift, carry and / or move in excess of 50 pounds during the normal course of a workday.
