ROLE OVERVIEW :
Senior data-savvy project manager needed (W-2 only; no recruiters or agencies, please) to drive enterprise client data governance project.
Must have strong familiarity with data ecosystems. Role may require some time at client site. Immediate start date.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :
- 10+ years of project management experience
- Experience in data delivery leading successful business and / or technology enterprise projects from initiation through deployment including user adoption and change management, such as :
- Data Strategy & Transformation, Change Management, Organizational Design, Operating Model
- Data Management, Data Governance & Quality, Master Data Management, Lineage & Metadata Management, Business Intelligence & Reporting, Data Insights & Analytics
- Data Platform Delivery, Cloud Data Platform (Azure, AWS), Data Warehousing, Ingestion & Curation, Data Integration
- Understanding of and / or are skilled in Waterfall, Agile (e.g. SAFe, Scrum & Kanban) and Product Mode Delivery
- Previous success with strategic and / or operational project delivery experience (business strategy, technology systems, vendor management), and have the ability to apply and lead flexible delivery models to execute the work
- Ability to partner cross-functionally to solve complex problems and have the confidence to influence stakeholders
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and take ownership to drive towards resolution
- Skilled communicator and can facilitate challenging discussions; ability to fine-tune communication style to connect with a variety of stakeholders, including executive-level stakeholder
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
