Position Overview :
Sanborn Regional School District (SAU 17) in Kingston, NH, is seeking three dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team.
This full-time position involves managing a caseload of students in grades 6-8, providing direct instruction, and supporting students through case management and small group / individual instruction.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and support a caseload of students in grades 6-8 with diverse special education needs.
- Provide direct instruction and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Deliver small group and individual instruction to address specific learning needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other staff to support student success.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
Qualifications :
- Valid Special Education Teaching License in New Hampshire.
- Experience working with middle school students and managing special education caseloads.
- Strong skills in case management, direct instruction, and developing effective IEPs.
- Excellent munication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
