Guest Experience Agent / Ramp Agent
Tropic Ocean Airways Guest Experience Agent / Ramp Agent will provide all necessary and required guest services including but not limited to baggage processing, gate check-in, greeting arriving guests, handling of VIPs, provide special guest assistance, handle other duties as assigned.
Primary duties but not limited to the following
Daily tasks involve using a computer and a high level of concentration is imperative as the environment changes frequently and at a fast pace.
- Assist guests with vehicle parking (valet, short-term or long-term parking)
- Must be self-motived and detail oriented, with a positive / cooperative attitude and be able to function effectively as a team member.
- Possesses basic computer skills with the ability to easily grasp the functionality and concepts of company software.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overtime when needed
- Ability to comfortably and continuously lift / move up to 50 lbs. baggage / cargo
- Willingness to work in multiple location if needed.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and customer service skills;
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products;
- A professional appearance
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to pass a background check for BCAD Badging
- US Passport or Equivalent Required
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- A High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in related field
- Maintain valid driver’s license;
This position undergoes a very extensive background check due to Airport Security Measures, that goes back a minimum of ten years
