RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Perform routine mechanical, electrical, welding, or machining maintenance activities on equipment including lubrication, inspection, and replacement parts.
- Perform maintenance, troubleshoot and repair plant facilities and production equipment.
- Utilize pneumatic and hydraulic tools and equipment to diagnose mechanical issues
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, CAD drawings and sketches.
- Responsible for skilled troubleshooting, maintenance, fabrication, and repair of facilities equipment, industrial machinery and process equipment.
- Participate in preventive maintenance programs for plant equipment and machinery
- Identify equipment maintenance needs
- Document mechanical equipment condition and report part fabrication from drawings.
- Responsible for requesting plant equipment & replacement parts. Interpret schematics and equipment manuals
- Collaborate with Engineers and Process Technicians to devise, fabricate, and assemble new or modified mechanical, electro-mechanical, or electronic components and machinery.
- Adhere to plant safety and sanitation requirements. Complete work assignments efficiently and as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Comply with all quality policies, procedures, specifications, regulations and instructions consistent with ISO requirements and safety procedures.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Minimum 2-3 years experience as Maintenance Mechanic / Technician within a plant environment
- Must have Hands-on Mechanical Aptitude, and basic electrical circuit knowledge and ability to learn wiring and applications.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, CAD drawings and sketches.
- Must be able to perform maintenance, troubleshoot and repair plant facilities and production equipment.
- Ability to learn machining processes and light welding
- Holds large spectrum of types of machinery, production, process and plant facility equipment.
