What Will You Do?
The Global Supply Chain Senior Analyst is accountable for leading the orchestration of the supply planning strategy for the business units to maximize service levels in a cost-effective manner.
The Senior Analyst is responsible for coordinating and executing the inventory strategy, product lifecycle management plan, supply network optimization, and purchase order management.
The Senior Analyst must have a continuous improvement mindset and will work cross-functionally to promote collaboration while initiating and coordinating the execution of supply chain initiatives that deliver significant value.
Primary Responsibilities
- Leads business units in the development, orchestration, and alignment of the supply plan with strategic initiatives.
- Develops and implements inventory strategies and processes in alignment with multiple channels and units, key inventory targets, and financial goals.
- Manages the product lifecycle for the business units in collaboration with Demand Planners and the Sales Team to ensure that products are properly phased in and out.
- Optimizes the supply network for the business units to ensure that products are sourced and delivered in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Works cross-functionally with other departments to promote collaboration and ensure that the supply chain is aligned with the company's overall goals.
- Initiates and executes supply chain initiatives that deliver significant value. Leads product launch planning and monitoring.
- Identifies trends and risks, provides recommendations for action plans, and makes conscious choices to reduce risk, drive speed, reliability, and cost effectiveness.
- Manages and supports the execution of the tactical responsibilities associated with purchase order management.
- Facilitates Demand and Supply Reviews.
- Serves as the SME for testing and experimental design.
- Demonstrates strong ability to train and mentor team members. Assists with the design and implementation processes and tools to drive accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
Develops and fosters relationships with all levels of senior leadership in the business.
Job Qualifications
- 3-5 years in Supply Chain Operations, in a buyer / planning or inventory management capacity, Required.
- Knowledge of end-to-end enterprise resource planning systems along with maintaining and troubleshooting planning parameters, Preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration, business management, operations management and / or equivalent experience in related fields, Required.
- APICS CPIM or CSCP or ISM - Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Professional in Supply Diversity (CPSD) Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Preferred.
- Project Management experience 2 years leading cross-functional supply chain projects, Preferred.
- Business Analytics tools Intermediate to proficient skills in preparing, modeling, visualizing, analyzing, and deploying, Preferred.
- SQL Beginner or intermediate skills or ability to acquire them, Preferred.
- Microsoft Certified Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification, Preferred.
- Six Sigma Green Belt, Preferred or within 1 year of hiring.
- Strong ability to tactfully influence and build trust across diverse audiences.
- Analytical work style with the ability to work effectively on a team or independently.
- Accountability, initiative, integrity, and maturity.
- Ability to develop advanced analytical tools including Excel files utilizing large datasets for process improvements.
