Seeking a friendly and dependable individual with a passion for the food industry to join the team at Big Mike's BBQ Smokehouse in Houma, LA as a Restaurant Cashier.
Responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, creating an enjoyable dining experience, and efficiently managing transactions.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and committed to ensuring customer happiness. This position at our renowned BBQ restaurant offers a competitive salary and room for professional development in the food service field.
Compensation : $15 - $22 hourly

Responsibilities :
- Provide excellent customer service by processing sales transactions and accepting payments.
- Ensure accuracy by calculating and returning change during cash transactions.
- Promote additional products through cross-selling and upselling techniques.
- Maintain organized financial records by reconciling cash drawers and sales receipts.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve store sales targets.
- Address customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.
- Keep checkout and merchandise areas clean and orderly to enhance the overall shopping experience.
Qualifications :
- Must possess valid US Work Authorization
- Proficient in customer service and experienced in restaurant / fast food industry
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and maintains a professional demeanor
- Holds a High School Diploma or equivalent qualification
- Capable of multitasking, excelling in fast-paced environments, and adept at staying organized
