We have a client in East Hanover, NJ searching for a Quality Engineer to add to their manufacturing team.- Reports to and assists Director / VP of Quality- Implement, establish, and maintain the company quality system in accordance with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 Automotive & ISO 13485 Medical as required- Represents company as liaison with external parties regarding quality systems and capabilities- Internal lead auditor- Participate in supplier, customer, and registrar audits- Prepare various company data reports measuring various quality and business performance indexes- Assure quality requirements are understood and attainable- Interpret blueprints & specifications related to geometric tolerancing, gauging & statistical requirements- Develop inspection plans and methods including fixture and gage design- Program Vision / CMM systemsJob Requirements : - 4-yr college degree or equivalent work experience- 3-5 yrs experience in Quality Control / Assurance in tightly tolerance industry- Must have experience in medical and / or automotive manufacturing- Thorough understanding of automotive and medical industry quality requirements- Knowledgeable in following Military Specs : MIL-STD-45208A, MIL-STD-45662, MILQ9858A, and ISO 9000, ISO / TS 16949 Automotive, ISO13485 Medical- Must have general knowledge and training in principles related to metals or resins- Must be able to interpret blueprints, Geometric Dimensioning Tolerancing and statistic- Working knowledge in various softwares used in measurement systems.
i.e : MS excel, Access Word, Powerpoint, VB for applications
