LHH has partnered with a large, publicly traded REIT / real estate firm to search for an experienced Corporate Tax Accountant with strong 1065 knowledge! This role is located in the North Phoenix area, however, it’s a hybrid schedule working 2 days / week remote.

Candidates must have high volume 1065 experience to be considered, along with a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
Compensation is up to $90k plus a 10% bonus, medical / dental / vision and a 401k match.
Tax Accountant Responsibilities :
- Prepare and consolidate tax workpapers, which includes a high volume of 1065’s
- Analyze and file sales and use tax returns and ensure they are properly reported
- Assist with quarterly REIT workpapers and testing procedures
- Research complex tax-related issues, as well as prepare responses and resolutions to such issues
- Partake in process improvement and streamlining projects / initiatives as requested
Education, Skills and Experience Needed :
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 2+ years of 1065 tax experience is a must
- Proficiency in Excel and ability to learn new software systems quickly
- Ability to prioritize effectively and work well in a fast-paced, high volume environment
- Professional communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills
