Rockfon, part of ROCKWOOL Group, is seeking a Sales Segment Manager, Healthcare, based in Chicago , to join our Sales Enablement and Marketing Teams .

This position will have no direct reports, will report to the Sales Enablement Manager and require nationwide travel of up to 50%.

What You Will Be Doing

The Sales Segment Manager will be responsible for working with our Marketing and Field Sales organizations to drive specifications and sales growth, on a national level, in key target segments including : Healthcare, Higher Education and Data Centers .

This person will lead by coaching and mentoring effective selling techniques and develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate the healthcare market (primary).

  • Be the Key Segment Expert for our targeted segments within the Rockfon NA team. Guide the organization’s understanding of industry trends, competitive strategies, product gaps and value creation
  • Cultivate strong relationships with new and existing clients in the healthcare industry, including Group Purchasing Organizations, Facility Managers, architects and consultants
  • Lead sales growth initiatives of Rockfon products in key segments with a focus on generating demand for our high-end tile and specialty metal offerings
  • Drive specification rate improvement for Rockfon products through the adoption of technical information provided by Marketing (codes & standards)
  • Develop Go-To-Market strategy for key segments, co-owned with Marketing
  • Partner with Sales and divisional leadership to define and evolve the sales strategy in harmony with the divisional strategy to maximize long and short-term commercial achievement
  • Conduct sales training for Sales teams
  • Adopt and create KPIs to measure the success in key segments using CRM system

What You Bring

  • 5 years’ experience working in Sales in a similar role with a track record of success
  • Expertise in the healthcare industry and strong relationships with key decision makers
  • 4 Year Undergraduate Business degree preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and train others
  • Strong organization, analytical and presentation skills
  • Highly skilled proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines in a fast paced environment
