Retail Receiving Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY :

The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for the flow of merchandise in and out of the Retail Inventory Room. This individual will process all incoming deliveries;

receiving, quality checks, ticketing and coordinate the delivery of product to each individual outlet. This position supports both the Inventory and Merchandise Manager in all functions.

DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Reconcile incoming product deliveries from Purchasing log
• Check in delivered product against corresponding receiver
• Receive all retail product in Yellow Dog
• Notify Retail Group of deliveries for the business day
• Transfers as required
• Deliver Product to each outlet
• Assist with retrieval of invoices as needed
• Notify Buyers of any variances with shipments
• Ticketing of all Retail product going to sales floor
• Assist with shipping of merchandise to guests / vendors
• Perform returns to vendors (RTAs)
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of Retail Inventory room
• Assist with inventory functions such as cycle counts, annual physical inventory and damages / write outs
• Supports online store as well as the Inventory and Merchandise Manager.

Qualification Standard

• Must have computer skills
• Solid working knowledge of inventory software applications
• Have effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people including team members, vendors, sale representatives, and guests
• Team player that is willing to assist in multiple areas as the need arises
• Must be available for occasional weekends and holidays

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS STANDARD :

Lifting, bending, reaching, and stooping are all physical aspects of the job. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
