Qualifications

CNA Job Requirements :

• If you are looking to become a Certified Nursing Assistant in Washington, let us help you get there! We will pay for your CNA class while you enjoy all of the benefits of working for Riverview!
• If you have already completed your CNA classes and certifications, you must have a current / active unrestricted NAC / NAR or HCA with the State of Washington at the time of application.

Active NAC or HCA license must be acquired within 120-days of employment if hired as an NAR.

• CPR and First Aidcertified at the time of hire or within 30 days of hire (class provided).
• Washington State Food Handler's permit at the time of hire and maintained while employed.
• Ability to communicate verbally & in writing, in English.

CNA Job Responsibilities :

• Provide direct and indirect patient care.
• Assist with delegated nursing plan activities, transportation, and clerical tasks.
• Support the RN / LPN in implementing patient care plans, maintaining accurate records, patient documentation, patient admission and discharge, transfers, and ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulations.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations, and all local, state, and federal requirements.
