Position Overview : We are seeking a part-time dental hygienist to join our team for approximately 2-3 days per week. Your responsibilities will include :
- Conducting thorough dental cleanings and oral examinations.
- Assessing patients' oral health and identifying signs of periodontal disease or other dental issues.
- Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and recommending personalized home care routines.
- Administering fluoride treatments and applying dental sealants as needed.
- Assisting dentists with various procedures and tasks as necessary.
Qualifications :
- Valid dental hygiene license in the state of Indiana.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental hygienist.
- Proficiency in dental hygiene techniques, including scaling and root planning.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to educate and motivate patients to maintain good oral health habits.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and personalized patient care.
