INVISTA is seeking an experienced Financial Accounting Manager to join our CFO organization in Wichita, KS. This role will lead a team of 5 analysts, primarily responsible for inventory and margin, and report to our Sr. Accounting Manager.

What You Will Do
- Lead an accounting team with an emphasis on developing a culture of Principled Entrepreneurship through talent selection, development, and retention
- Advance the Principle Based Management® (PBM®) culture by applying and reinforcing the company’s Guiding Principles
- Key contact and support for INVISTA US GAAP and local financial audits, cyclical reporting to KII, tax and government agencies, etc.
- Ensure an effective financial control environment
- Proactive leader in developing and fostering partnerships with operations and business teams to deliver analytical insights that support business strategies and profitable decision making.
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including originating ideas, collecting data, establishing facts, performing analysis, drawing conclusions, and presenting a point of view
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in financial accounting
- Experience in a leadership role (developing a team, leading transformation, project leadership, etc.)
- This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience in a manufacturing industry
- Experience in Project implementation and / or management
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (i.e., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, etc.)
- Experience using SAP or OneStream
- Experience in Inventory (cost accounting, valuation, counts, audit, etc.)
