FIRST YEAR ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Established law firm has an immediate opening for a First Year Associate Attorney within our litigation practice. This is a GREAT opportunity for a newly licensed attorney to gain litigation experience.
We are an insurance defense litigation firm specializing in medical malpractice defense, product liability defense, general liability defense, and elder abuse defense.
We also handle the occasional plaintiff’s case. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and interested in civil litigation.
Duties may include organizing and analyzing case information, law and motion drafting, researching and analyzing the law on complex issues, analyzing and summarizing complicated documents, including medical records, contracts, depositions, and discovery responses.
The ideal candidate / applicant must be :
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.
- Have excellent analytical, writing, and research skills.
- Capable of handling multiple responsibilities as well as have excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize daily work assignments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
