Job Description :
Work with members of the Firm's Intellectual Property Practice Group performing tasks associated with daily docketing of US, PCT, and foreign intellectual property matters, including trademarks, patents, and related matters.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Process and route all prosecution-related correspondence, including entry of relevant data in docketing system software;
docket completed items.
- Create and update matter records in docketing system.
- Handle daily critical docket items, including verifying status with attorneys and support staff, escalating to managing attorneys / partners as needed.
- Perform other assigned tasks including review of existing processes, and implementation of appropriate docket actions for US, PCT, and foreign filing.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND / OR TRAINING :
- 3+ years’ experience in patent and trademark docketing, law firm experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of USPTO, PCT, and international procedural rules and regulations.
- Anaqua docketing software experience preferred, but other docketing software experience may be acceptable.
- Experience searching US and foreign patent office databases to verify docketing-related data.
