JobDescription :
We are seeking a sed ManualLathe Machinist and CNC Mill / Lathe Operator to join our team. Thisrole involves programming and operating manual and CNC machines tomanufacture parts according to drawings orinstructions.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Programand operate manual mill and lathemachines.
- Inspect parts to ensure specifieddimensions are met using micrometers calipers and other measuringdevices.
- Select correct tooling and set upmachines accurately.
- Maintain a high level ofworkmanship and ensure work areacleanliness.
- Make offsets and editsindependently and meet daily / weekly productionquotas.
- Participate in R&D design reviewsand contribute to teamsuccess.
OtherDuties :
- Mentor and istless experienced machinists and CNCoperators.
- Visualize and study blueprints toaid in machining processes.
- Set up and operateEDM machines.
- Perform other tasks as ignedwhile exercising good judgment and critical thinkingss.
Qualifications :
- HighSchool diploma or GED.
- Trained in programmingand operating CNC machines or equivalent workexperience.
- Minimum of 5 years experience inprogramming and operating CNC / manualmachines.
- Proficiency with CNC equipmentcalipers micrometers and height gauges.
- Basiccomputer ss and mathematical ss including geometry andtrigonometry.
- Strong verbal and writtencommunication ss.
- Ability to prioritize andmanage multiple taskseffectively.
