LHH is partnering with a growing start-up in the biotech space to hire a Part-time Bookkeeper. This role offers flexible hours and an opportunity to contribute to the financial health of our organization.
Position Overview : As a Part-Time Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various bookkeeping tasks.
This role is ideal for individuals seeking part-time employment with a flexible schedule. The Part-Time Bookkeeper will work closely with the finance team to ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day financial activities.
Key Responsibilities :
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Assist with payroll processing and related tasks.
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and standards.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Provide support to the finance team and other departments as needed.
Requirements :
Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
Proficiency in accounting software (, QuickBooks, Xero, etc.).
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work part-time hours.
