We have an immediate need for a Paralegal at a leading Harrisburg law firm. This is a full time direct hire opportunity. This position is fully remote but must reside in PA.
Job Duties Include :
- Assist attorneys in all phases of commercial transportation defense litigation including case management, serving and responding to discovery and trial preparation.
- Conduct legal research.
- Draft legal pleadings and documents.
- Communicate effectively with clients, experts, opposing counsel and witnesses.
- Maintain and organize case files.
- Schedule and prepare materials for depositions and medical exams.
Job Requirements Include :
- five years’ experience in complex defense litigation,
- experience with Pennsylvania and Federal court filings and daily time entry billing requirements
- proficient in Microsoft Office as well as document management and timekeeping software.
- A Certificate in Paralegal Studies from an ABA approved organization or a bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Experience or familiarity with New Jersey and New York is a plus.
