Senior Revenue Accountant

Job Description :

We are looking for a Senior Revenue Accountant to join our world-class accounting team! The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting foundation and are diligent in their attention to detail.

They will support our revenue close process and other critical aspects of the financial statement close.

What you'll do :

Performing month-end closing procedures including the preparation of journal entries, maintenance of sub-ledgers and GL account reconciliations

Performing review of revenue transactions and related contracts to ensure appropriate revenue recognition

Assisting with the implementation of new systems

Calculate royalty payments to our authors and perform reviews to ensure accurate computation

Assisting with financial statement audits

Conducting ad hoc financial / operational analysis as required

Experience you'll bring :

Strong understanding of US GAAP

Understanding of new revenue recognition guidance as prescribed under ASC 606 preferred

Advanced knowledge of Excel

Excellent interpersonal skills and analytical abilities

CPA preferred

Master's degree in accounting preferred

Some public accounting experience

Requirements :

Requires a minimum of 5 years of related or equivalent experience; or 3+ years with an advanced degree

Travel Requirements :

While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important.

Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.

Work is performed in an office (or home office) environment and requires the ability to operate office equipment and keyboards.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $77,200 - $95,300 USD. Pluralsight's pay ranges vary based on work location.

Talent Acquisition can share more detail during the hiring process when applicable. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.

In addition to the base salary, this role may also be eligible for benefits and bonuses.
