In this remote position, you will play a pivotal role in authoring and editing content for proposals, responding to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs for current and potential clients.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with key stakeholders to develop proposal sections, ensuring clarity, consistency, and compliance with solicitation documentation.

Responsibilities :
- Conducting research and translating complex topics into clear and concise language for a non-technical audience.
- Partnering with subject matter experts and project managers to gather information and develop compelling narratives.
- Writing and editing proposal sections, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to solicitation guidelines.
- Managing multiple proposals simultaneously and coordinating contributions from various team members.
- Utilizing and maintaining proposal templates following established best practices.
Qualifications / Background Profile :
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience as a proposal writer.
- Proven track record of successfully authoring proposals and related documents for government contracting bids.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize effectively.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Position is mostly remote with occasional need to attend in-office meetings in Springfield, VA.
