Data Specialist- Data Security
Job Summary :
This person will be responsible for safeguarding the confidentiality and integrity of the company's data assets. This role is dedicated to developing scalable full-stack solutions, middleware, and automation to accelerate and enable global risk reduction initiatives while proactively mitigating the cyber risks.
Required Experience / Skills :
- 5+ years in software development; or master’s degree in computer science / engineering or related cyber field, and 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in at least one programming language (Java, C#, C++) and scripting language (Python, bash, PowerShell)
- Proficient in developing full-stack applications and rapidly prototyping solutions to support automated data collection, aggregation, and analysis.
- Experience in SQL, data modeling, and ETL development.
- Experience with CI / CD pipelines and development tools like Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, etc.
- Experience with public cloud services (Azure, AWS, Alibaba).
- Knowledge of foundational IAM concepts (Authentication, Authorization, RBAC, JIT) and Encryption.
- Experience in one or more security domains (e.g. Data security, Network security, Application Security, Cloud Security) is a plus.
- Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft APIs is a plus.
- Experience with algorithms, predictive ML models, NLP, or AI is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to autonomously make high-judgment decisions and take calculated risks.
- A proactive and positive team player who is impact-focused, driven, curious, analytical, and a self-starter.
