Investment Product Associate (Marketing Support Specialist)

Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Support Specialist to join the team within Ladenburg Thalmann Asset Management, a member of Osaic.
The Marketing Support Specialist role entails the management and marketing of products managed by the asset management division such as retirement services, the firm’s digital advisor solution and managed portfolios.
The individual will also lend creative input to the sales process and act as a liaison to Advisors to provide education on asset management services.
Salary Range : $65,000-$85,000
Responsibilities :
- Coordinate and maintain marketing materials for internal sales needs and client distribution.
- Implement a strategy for communication and create a consistent, scalable messages targeting growth of advisory assets.
- Tracking of product sales and producing reports for management
- Schedule meetings in field with Advisors and plan for corporate conferences
- Provide sales and training presentations on product information and host conference calls and webinars on fee-based business and practice management.
- Proactively communicate with Advisors on assets raised, trading activity, market analysis portfolio rebalancing, and other customer-service related inquiries, as well as assist in creating client proposals
- Provide direction to Advisors on which products best suit their client needs.
- Assist in creating new programs for Advisors.
- Assist Advisors in client calls and meetings (once licensed)
- All other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements :
Bachelor's degree required.
Basic Requirements :
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills as well as strong organizational skills
- Dedicated work ethic and competitive drive
- Solid networking abilities and follow up skills.
- Self-starter who takes initiative and looks for ways to creatively solve problems.
- Ability to work independently with little or no direction and anticipate needs without being asked.
- Registered Investment Advisor license (series 65 or 66) as well as General Securities Representative (series 7) required for position but can be obtained upon hiring.
- Previous experience (1-3 years or internships) in financial services
- General knowledge of fee-based asset management wrap fee programs, mutual funds, ETFs, alternative investments and separate account manager programs.
- Must possess excellent computer skills and be proficient using Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Willingness to work extended hours in order to meet project deadlines.
