As part of a passionate and growing team of experts, you will be accountable as an Operations Program Manager (OPM) supporting our Engines Business Unit.
You will be responsible for providing both manufacturing engineering and programmatic leadership and you will be expected to help manage business operating change;
providing mentoring to less senior program managers and engineering leads; and work as an integral connection between the Business Unit and operations to support execution and growth.

Responsibilities :
- Act as an Operations functional Lead for the Blue Engines Business Unit, supporting all aspects of strategic planning for all product efforts to deliver fully integrated and tested elements, vehicles, and / or products
- Lead and manage the manufacturing engineering and tooling teams assigned to the products and programs associated with the relevant Business Unit
- Partner with the Operations Execution team to provide support for product manufacturing and continuous improvement activities to reduce product costs and cycle times.
- Ensures optimization of common processes and material across the teams. Ensure the standardization of parts, processes, and specification on the program
- Leading the development of product based manufacturing plans for operations, tooling, facilities, equipment (capital) and procurement.
Responsible for keeping this plan current
- Partner with supporting functional organizations (e.g., Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, Enterprise Program Management Office) to assure continuous interfaces, smooth operations, and reconciliation of process standards, action items, and emergent issues both across the business unit and with the rest of the company.
- Ensure integration of all manufacturing plans across the program including in-house manufacturing, material procurement, facilities, capital, drawing releases, etc.
- Ensures the consistent application and proper communication with production operations of requirements to support Program needs, including schedule, capacity planning, equipment, facilities and infrastructure.
- Perform and lead others in the development of specific project / program plans, managing risks, tracking, reporting on status, and resolving blocking issues
- Work independently toward long-range objectives without appreciable direction and determine the technical objectives of assignments to develop approaches to solutions
- Oversee budgets with the responsibility to analyze, manage and report on budget performance and variance analysis
Qualifications :
Previous experience in a leadership role as a Sr Manager or Director with significant technical and project management responsibility;
strong track record of delivering results and creating a positive, high performing culture
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent and 10+ years of related experience in manufacturing engineering
- Experience supporting a project thru the product development lifecycle and into rate production
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing engineering teams, specifically industrial, manufacturing and tooling teams
- Deep experience in and understanding of complex manufacturing and production systems
- Demonstrated exceptional business acumen, while comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Highly effective and professional verbal and written communication skills with internal and external teams
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.
S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Desired :
- Experience managing dynamic (e.g., growing, evolving) organizations, including planning, budget, schedule, quality, deliverables, reporting, staff, facilities, and interfaces
- Technical or project management expertise that has contributed to the success of Tier 1 milestones
- MBA or other relevant education
- PMP certification
