LPN Occupational Health

Job Summary : The LPN supports the provider team with patient care during procedures and also rooms patients, completes testing, and assures that all medications and logs are handled according to regulatory requirements.

The clinic is open seven days a week, including holidays, with shifts varying across day, evening and weekend time periods.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Collect patient data and give to RN or provider to determine what clinical action is needed
• Room Patients and obtain patient information and chief complaint
• Call patients concerning test results
• Provide assistance during minor procedures
• Obtain medical histories
• Document findings in the EMR system
• Process rapid cultures with approved competency
• Maintaining logs for calibrations
• Monitoring of Significant Exposures
• Medication and vaccination administration
• Performing treatments
• Patient Education
• Provide basic wound care and dressing changes
• Review daily labs
• Check controls Daily
• Maintains medical supply inventory
• Maintains calibration logs for medical equipment
• Perform medical tests such as EKGs, venipuncture’s, PPD’s, vaccines
• Provide basic wound care and dressing changes
• Drug testing for patients
• Ensures 100% compliance with the WorkFit Medical Compliance Program and compliance with federal and state licensing requirements
• Performs other duties as assigned
