Summary :
Provides oversight and strategic direction for distribution of supplies and logistics for Summa Health System. Develops system-wide approach through collaboration and direct accountability with onsite materials management staff for end-to-end supply chain integration that lowers the total cost of distribution and inventory management functions while improving customer service and support to caregiver.
Manages the Distribution and Receiving Departments for the system well as the system wide Distribution Center function. Manages the direction and operation of Hill-Rom’s Asset Advantage program at ACH.
Assumes accountability for the activities of the Distribution Dept. / Outpatient Centers / SPI ), Inventory Control , Receiving, to ensure timely and accurate processing of receipts of supplies, delivery of supplies and equipment, and accurate keying into Lawson ERP system resulting expenses for the using departments.
Plans, organizes, and identifies supplies for warehousing on both campuses to best serve our Customers. Assesses and monitors the inventory on hand, while keeping costs in line with Summa goals and objectives, balanced with the needs of our Customers.
Partner with the Summa Emergency Management Preparedness Committee to recommend policies and procedures related to all potential / actual disasters.
Minimum Qualifications :
1.Formal Education Required :
a.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Allied Health, or related field of study, or closely related field or the equivalent in training and experience
2.Experience and Training Required :
a.Ten (10) years supply distribution, receiving or central processing experience to include seven (7) years of inventory management experience including inventory software experience, and (5) years of leadership experience.
