We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Supply Chain / Purchasing Specialist!
Responsibilities :
- Manage purchasing and buying processes to ensure the efficient acquisition of materials.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports
- Forecast inventory needs to meet the production requirements and deadlines.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiating for the best prices and terms.
- Implement strategies for purchasing materials to optimize cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Manage supply chain logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their material requirements and ensure their needs are met.
- Regularly review and update purchasing policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies with orders and invoices.

Full, time hours Monday-Friday
Contract to hire opportunity
Attire : Business Casual / Casual
- Applicant must have a minimum of two years of experience in a purchasing
- Ability to create and analyze Inventory Reports is required.
- Understanding of Supply Chain Logistics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.
- Must have experience in Vendor Management.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are necessary.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment is required.
- Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and adhere to ethical business practices.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the specified location.
