We are a leader in the pork industry, is searching for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team in St. Joseph, MO .

Your Impact :
As a Human Resources Generalist, you'll be the go-to expert for employee relations and labor relations, ensuring our HR operations align with best practices and legal standards.
You'll work directly with employees and management, driving solutions that enhance morale and productivity. This is your opportunity to shape policies, lead investigations, and ensure that our workforce remains engaged, compliant, and inspired.
What You'll Do :
- Lead Employee and Labor Relations : Manage employee relations, address grievances, and work closely with union representatives to maintain a fair, compliant workplace
- Drive Compliance : Ensure you meet all legal standards, handle EEOC and unemployment cases, and prepare policies in line with employment laws
- Manage HRIS and Reporting : Maintain data accuracy in our HRIS, generate actionable reports, and provide insights that support continuous improvement
- Guide and Mentor HR Team : Support HR Operations Coordinators and HR Clerks, helping them grow and excel in their roles
- Support Absence & Wage Management : Oversee absence tracking and wage administration, ensuring consistency and compliance across all shifts
What We're Looking For :
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of HR experience, with a background in manufacturing or union environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment law, labor relations, and HRIS systems (SAP, SuccessFactors a plus)
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) proficiency is required
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively present information and build collaborative relationships
