What Manufacturing Management contributes to Cardinal Health

Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.

Manufacturing Management is responsible for strategic oversight and leadership direction within the Manufacturing function.

Responsibilities :

• Directs the day-to-day activities of the production operation, coordinates and supervises the daily production activities, daily scheduling for workforce and set priorities to ensure task completion.
• Actively builds relationships across functions / businesses that bring value to the company, encouraging the participation and perspectives of all team members, regardless of background;

mentors and empowers others to achieve success.

• Has in-depth knowledge of work processes and tools, maintaining 6S company standards and managing safety programs.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve safety, quality, and productivity metrics / goals.
• Ensures that accurate attendance / PTO records and scheduling are maintained.
• Completes detailed accurate performance evaluations of all direct reports.
• Maintains general responsibility for disciplinary process in the area of counseling, oral and written warnings; ensures a productive work climate in the production operation.
• Works on special projects as defined per business for each area of operation.
• Applies expertise to solve standard and non-standard problems within own area.
• Aligns individual goals for self and others with work area / functional goals.
• Performs duties in compliance with all safety rules and regulations required by the Company, Local, State, and Federal provisions.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years in manufacturing industry or related experience preferred.
• Green Belt Certification preferred.
• BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field preferred.

Anticipated salary range : $74,400 - $111,615 / year
