System Administrator
THIS IS AN ON-SITE POSITION WITH THE EXPECTATION TO BE IN OFFICE 40 HOURS PER WEEK
System Administrator Essential Functions :
- Install, configure and update software, hardware and network devices
- Monitor system performance, security and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues and outages
- Ensure backup and disaster recovery procedures are in place
- Manage user accounts, permissions and access rights
- Document system configurations, policies and procedures
- Train and assist users on IT-related matters
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions
Requirements : System Administrator
System Administrator
Education, Qualifications, Experience :
- Bachelors degree in computer science, computer information systems or related field or equivalent experience
- Professional certifications a plus
- Knowledge of current trends in the IT field
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of desktop and network operating systems and applications
- Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, routers and switches
- Knowledge of system security, backup and recovery best practices
- Proven experience as a system administrator, network administrator or similar role
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Expectation of Service :
This is a non-exempt 40 hour per week position. Regular and punctual attendance is required.
